This is something that continues to hit me in the face. I want it all while trying to be perfect, and needing it all to happen in 5 minutes!
If you're like me, you're trying to get somewhere in your business. You're on a journey. It may be new or you may have been on it for a while. Maybe you've set a new goal to achieve. It's still January, so most likely there's some resolution you've committed to. But in the fifth week of the year, you realize that getting where you want to go is going to take longer than you thought and be harder than you imagined, so you're feeling a bit discouraged.
I, too, am on a journey. With several goals to hit, hills to climb, money to make...and all the things.
If I half-ass it and produce some B.S., I'm not going to feel good about it.
If I stress about not reaching my goals quickly, I'm going to rev up my anxiety.
But if I quit because of those things, and fail to execute what God or the universe has put on my heart to do, I'll feel worse. Not just emotionally, but sometimes physically.
So I've learned to calm down and do it right if I'm going to bother doing it at all. It takes the time it takes. I just have to continually check myself and not confuse my need for more time as a way to procrastinate.🙃
