It's natural to want to be informed. For most of us, information seeking comes from a yearning to be the best we can be. So we do all the things...
And most of this information costs us nothing.
The usual suspects like Google, YouTube, TikTok, and ChatGPT are free. But is it really free when all it does is cause us to lose our way and waste a bunch of time?
I usually start on one platform, which leads me to another platform, which leads me to a book I may never finish, only to end up back where I started. And before you know it, I’ve lost my way.
One guru says this. Another guru says that.
Someone says eat this, someone else says eat that.
This expert shows me one path to riches, while another one says that methodology is outdated, and they have the true path.
I've filled my head with endless amounts of information that I'll most likely never remember. This ultimately leaves me overwhelmed and anxious because I know I've lost my way, twisting and turning down these rabbit holes of information.
So this year I'm not setting any goals, or making any resolutions. As long as I focus on finding my way and not someone else's...as seen on TikTok, Google, YouTube, etc... everything else I could ever resolve to do will simply take care of itself.
