I have been the main offender when it comes to investing in apps I don't need.  Once upon a time, every app I came across was going to solve my problems and make my business successful. They looked so fun. and I could see the potential need for them.  I wanted to use them, even when my business wasn't ready!

Maybe I wanted them to make me feel like my business was bigger.  Maybe I really thought they were the answers to my business problems.  Maybe I just wanted to feel like I was actually doing something.

The Real -  Apps are fun, and we want to play with them.  But they can't eliminate the real work it takes to build a successful business.  So before you invest in your next app, ask yourself;

• Can I afford this?

• Does this fit into what I'm currently using?

• Is this a need or a want?

There is no magic app that can take your place. So until they come up with one that can think, create, and execute like you, don't get caught up in the hype. Use what you got until you're absolutely ready for more.
