While this seems like a no brainer, it happens.  I've done it!  You're looking for someone to do some type of work for you and you zero in on someone you want to hire.  Something about them screams they are the perfect fit for the job.  And it's gotta be them.  Your initial meetings went well and you are sold!  But... all of a sudden, they won't return your calls.  And they just disappear.  You're confused.

So you wait, and you keep trying to connect.  But nothing.  What have you done?  Why doesn't this person want to work for you?  Is your project not good enough?  What could it be?

Real talk...who TF cares?  Why are you chasing someone to take your money? If they don't want to do the work, or have other things going on, don't take it personally?  Quit waiting on a call back.  They may never call you back and you may never know why.  What you do know, is that it's not happening with this person and you need to find another.  They're out there and they want to earn your money.

Plus, better to find out now, rather than getting ghosted at a pivotal point in your project.  By then, all you can do is look back and see how you played yourself because you didn't listen to your gut, God, or intuition.  You knew better.  And almost always, you'll find someone even better than your original option.
